Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to the City of Cocoa Beach Volunteer Program.  The City is always looking for volunteers who could help City Departments on a day-to-day basis.  Volunteer opportunities come in the form of administrative support, recreation, or donating time to assist with the Blood Pressure Clinic.  Simply complete the Volunteer Application,  check which Department you wish to volunteer in and submit the form to the City Clerk Department, City Hall,  located at 2 S. Orlando Avenue, Cocoa Beach.  Please direct inquiries to the City Clerk Department.

Specialized Volunteer Programs

 

Citizen Observer Program
The amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic to the City of Cocoa Beach has created a need for additional "eyes and ears." The Citizen Observer Program is established to assist the Police in monitoring activities within the residential and business areas of the City. Citizen Observer Volunteers are Cocoa Beach citizens who volunteer, are accepted to participate in the Program and have met the training and policy requirements prescribed by the Cocoa Beach Police Department. Volunteer Marine Patrol with the Coastal Crime Watch Program
The Coastal Crime Watch Program is a proactive Citizen Volunteer Waterways and Beach Crime Watch Service Program. Persons who volunteer to serve on this Program, desire to register and report waterway observations in the same way citizens do through the neighborhood crime watch program. Participants on this program area also encouraged to participate in the regular City of Cocoa Beach Crime Watch Program.  For an Application and Standard Operating Procedures click "here."
