MINUTEMEN STREETSCAPE UPDATE

Florida Power and Light is moving the power poles on Minutemen Causeway. In order to position the new poles they will be removing 6-8 palm trees. These trees will be replaced when the new landscaping is installed later in the project. The palm trees can not be moved to another location because the root structure is such that removal will damage the canal banks and could cause erosion of the canal banks.
