INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MEMBER OF CBPD’s CITIZEN OBSERVER PATROL?

Program overview / Application process / Q&A
Tuesday, August 16, 6p-8p,
City of Cocoa Beach Commission Room

Come out and join Police Chief Scott Rosenfeld and his team for an overview of the Citizen Observer Patrol (COP) program—the mission of a volunteer COP; how to become a member; duties and responsibilities; uniforms and equipment, etc.  There will also be an update on the recent increase in property crime in Cocoa Beach and our surrounding cities, followed by Q&A.

Volunteer members of our COP program play a very important role at the Cocoa Beach Police Department.  COPs are our “eyes & ears” on the streets and waterways as they supplement the Patrol function; assist with crime prevention and special events; direct traffic; perform general office work; and any other duties as assigned.

Our community partnerships are vital in our efforts to reduce crime, catch criminals, and improve our quality of life.
