Job Description: JOB OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision, performs work in the maintenance and cleaning of City buildings (public works), grounds, beach and facilities. Work involves performing a wide range of custodial tasks involving the use of cleaning equipment and materials, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of public restrooms. Basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs as needed. Reports to the Building Maintenance Supervisor.

Remove trash from the beach area from drums. Must be able to pick up and turn over a full trash drum and shake out excess trash, on a routine basis. Operates light equipment to remove beach trash.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Graduation from high school or GED
- Ability to perform duties outline above
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Experience preferred but not required
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.


HOURS: 30 per week, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, required days, plus 2 additional weekdays 6 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

PAY: $10.00 per hour, benefits are not available with part-time positions.

Job Description: SYSTEMS/SOFTWARE TECHNICIAN

Designs, develops, and deploys enterprise-level applications in a government environment.

Responsible for developing new applications as well as enhancing and maintaining current applications. Designs user interfaces and investigates new technologies and architectures. Familiarity with software development life cycle and database administration.

Additional knowledge and experience with supporting PC hardware components and operating systems. Experience with Microsoft Windows server OS, networking platforms and infrastructure including an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, AD, security products, etc.
