Supervise Police & Fire Communications Center: 911 Emergency Dispatch Unit for Police, Fire & Rescue. 2-3 employees per shift; 9 employees total. Duties include staff training, supervision and scheduling, maintenance of records/reports and responsible for terminal access coordination.

Minimum Requirements: 2-5 years experience as a Police Dispatcher; Communication Supervisory experience preferred; Fire/Rescue Dispatching experience preferred.

Job Description: Position reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the irrigation system at the Cocoa Beach Country Club golf course. Responsibilities, duties and tasks include:

• Inspect golf course irrigation system pumps and lines; perform preventive maintenance and repair; and plan and program irrigation schedules.
• Operate digging equipment as necessary to install, repair and/or replace pipes, valves, valve boxes, sprinkler heads, motors, gears, etc.
• Diagnose problems, program failure or errors of operation in computer/satellite communication systems and develop and implement solutions.
• Operate the computerized irrigation system to ensure that watering routines and schedules maximize performance capabilities and provide irrigation to all critical areas of the golf course.
• Install drainage systems, fixtures and components as required.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school; irrigation system industry technical training in system design and maintenance; prefer 3 to 5 years experience in plumbing or irrigation system maintenance work; or any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.


$10.90/hour plus great benefits
