COMMENTS: (4/24/2010) I was wondering if there are any beach wheelchairs available at any of your parks. Any suggestions for activities for a visitor who uses a wheelchair?

EDITOR RESPONSE: Shepard Park, Lori Wilson Park and the Cocoa Beach Pier, among other locations, all have wheelchair access to the beach. Presently, neither of the beach rental equipment vendors offer beach wheelchairs.

COMMENTS: (4/9/2010) I miss Cocoa Beach. I lived there from 1982 to 1997, got married and moved away. I visit as frequent as I can. My two children love going there. I always dreamed my children would be litte surf bums with me. It hard to be a surf bum when you live 60 miles from the beach. Cocoa Beach is still where my heart is. Well at least half of it. The other half goes to my wife and children.
