The City’s Waterways and Wildlife Advisory Board members and City staff will hold the first of several cleanup projects to begin removal of the undesirable plants and Brazilian Pepper trees from the City’s newly-acquired Cocoa Beach Maritime Hammock Preserve (located at the 1200 block of S.R. A1A. north of Cocoa Isles Boulevard, between Denny’s Restaurant and the Space Coast Credit Union). Please bring heavy-duty garden gloves and wear appropriate clothing. has been with the City for 12 years. She was praised for her hard work,

Commissioner
John Michael Thames passed away - Flags flown at half mast at City Hall.
Mr. Thames served as Cocoa Beach Commissioner from 1989-1992. Commissioner
Thames meant a lot to each of us. Our deepest sympathy are with his
family.
