Easy Exercises for Seniors with
Marilyn, Fridays at 2:00 PM, through August 20. Stretch, walk and lift hand
weights with Marilyn Allawas in this relaxing course. Cost is $3.00 per
session. Please bring a towel and hand weights. A new initiative group for those who are alone, widowed, divorced or acaregiver, will meet on Fridays at 3:00 PM in the Captain’s Room. Book Discussion Groups meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 AM and 7:30 PM. On August 11th, the morning group will discuss Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Over the summer, the evening group will read The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown, for discussion in September. Playreaders Group meets every third Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Captain’s Room. Everyone who attends has a script and is encouraged to participate. Newcomers are always welcome. Call Barbara Clark for details at 783-5804. Cocoa Beach Writers Workshops are held Thursdays at 10:00 AM in the Captain’s Room. This round table discussion group gives authors the opportunity to have their works read and critiqued by fellow writers. Anyone interested in the craft of writing is welcome.
