NEW!! A Watercolor Group will meet
on Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 PM in the Captain’s Room. This is a social,
non-instructive painting group which is open to anyone with an interest in
watercolors. All levels of skill are welcome. Bring your materials and paint
with fellow artists. For further information, contact Angela Richards at
784-0528. A new initiative group for those who are alone, widowed, divorced or a caregiver, will meet on Fridays at 3:00 PM in the Captain’s Room. Book Discussion Groups meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 AM and 7:30 PM. On September 8th, the morning group will discuss A Passage to India by E.M. Forster. The evening group will review The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. Playreaders Group meets every third Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Captain’s Room. Everyone who attends has a script and is encouraged to participate. Newcomers are always welcome. Call Barbara Clark for details at 783-5804. Cocoa Beach Writers Workshops are held Thursdays at 10:00 AM in the Captain’s Room. This round table discussion group gives authors the opportunity to have their works read and critiqued by fellow writers. Anyone interested in the craft of writing is welcome.
