Learn the facts about hurricanes from John Williams, U.S. Army (retired), who runs the Hurricane Research Program at Florida Tech. An informative and exciting program and power-point presentation by the author of Florida Hurricanes and Tropical Storms 1871-1996. Williams has also flown about 12 reconnaissance missions into hurricanes. |

CITIZENS ACTION COMMITTEE MEETING WILL DISCUSS RUNAWAY GROWTH (OVERGROWTH) AT COCOA BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Citizens Action Committee will meet on Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 AM at Cocoa Beach Public Library. The topic will be Runaway Growth (overgrowth) and the panel will consist of Mike Myjak of Smart Growth/Save Brevard, Janice Scott, former mayor of Cocoa Beach and Lisette Kolar, a resident of Grant, who will discuss growth in South Brevard, The public is invited. |

Room. Everyone who attends has a script and is encouraged to participate. A Watercolor Group will meet on Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 in the Captain’s Room. This is a social, non-instructive painting group which is open to anyone with an interest in watercolors. All levels of skill are welcome. Bring your materials and paint with fellow artists.
