| Ongoing Programs | Easy Exercises for Seniors with Marilyn Allawas, Fridays at 2:00 PM. Cost is $3.00 per session. Bring a towel and hand weights. Exercise includes stretching, walking hand weights and relaxation. Book Discussion Groups meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 AM and 7:30 PM. The morning group will not meet in August. The evening group members will read A Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, Playreaders Group meets every third Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Captain’s Room. Everyone who attends has a script and is encouraged to participate. A Watercolor Group will meet on Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 in the Captain’s Room. This is a social, non-instructive painting group which is open to anyone with an interest in watercolors. All levels of skill are welcome. Cocoa Beach Writers Workshops are held Thursdays at 10:00 AM in the Captain’s Room. This round table discussion group gives authors the opportunity to have their works read and critiqued by fellow writers. Anyone interested in the craft of writing is welcome.
