People in Print presents Marshall Frank, Tuesday, February 3rd at 7:00 PM, who will discuss his newest book, Criminal Injustice in America, in which he presents a powerful argument for amending laws and processes regarding the war on drugs, prostitution, abortion, capital punishment, sex offenses and more. Only a non-politically correct, thirty-year career cop with the muzzle removed can dare offer such candid and startling alternatives to a failed system that now houses 2.3 million inmates in America’s prisons, at least a third of whom do not belong there. Patrons and readers with interest in the American justice system will find this a stimulating book talk. |

People in Print welcomes back Popular Florida mystery writer, Tim Dorsey, who will speak about the writing process and sign books on Wednesday, February 4th at 2:00 PM. His latest novel is entitled Nuclear Jellyfish will be available for purchase at the event. Dorsey is the author of Florida Roadkill, Orange Crush, Atomic Lobster, and other novels, all set in Florida. Florida noir writing at its best! Part of Brevard County Libraries’ Literacy Month initiative. Have You Had a Spiritual Experience, Prophetic Dream or Near Death Experience? If so, join the discussion on Wednesday, February 4th 7:30-8:45 PM in the Captain’s Room. Many people report having had a spiritual experience, prophetic dream or near death experience that changed their view of life. Members of Eckanar, a religious non-profit group, will explore spiritual experiences and what they mean. Free and open to the public, whatever your religious beliefs |
