Postural Therapy with Robin Brandimore, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Tuesday, May 3rd at 2:00 PM in the Jane von Thron Room. Our design is perfect...our society is not. We sit for long periods of time at our job or in our car. Even those of us who stay active don't do so in a way that keeps our body functioning correctly. When our body stops functioning correctly, we can end up with: Joint pain, Chronic fatigue, Headaches, Sluggish metabolism. Every system can be affected - digestion, respiratory, immune, lymphatic...The good news is that our body has the ability to heal itself when the alignment is correct. Brandimore is an Egoscue Certified Postural Alignment Specialist. The Egoscue Method of postural therapy was created by Pete Egoscue and is used in over 20 Egoscue clinics around the world. This therapy utilizes "Egoscue-exercises" or E-cises in a sequence or "menu" designed to treat the body as a unit to restore function. | ||
