Florida Residency

Establish Florida residency by:
-  Completing a Declaration of Domicile Application provided by the Brevard County Clerk of the Court    (Please Note: Application is not available electronically)
-  Presenting a photo ID, preferably a Florida Driver's License,
-  Notarizing the application by the Clerk of Court, and Recording into the public records 
-  Paying a Service fee - $10

Voter Registration

To register you must:
  • be a U.S. citizen.
  • be a Florida resident.
  • be 18 years old (you may pre-register if you are 17).
  • not now be adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state.
  • not have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored pursuant to law.
  • not claim the right to vote in another county or state.

Voter Registration Application
The form may be completed online or printed out. Please use a black ballpoint pen.
THE FLORIDA VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION FORM REQUIRES AN ORIGINAL SIGNATURE.
If the form is completed online, it must be printed out and signed prior to mailing.

You can use this online form to begin the process of:

  • registering to vote in the State of Florida.
  • letting us know if your name or address has changed.
  • registering with a political party or change parties.
  • replacing your defaced, lost, or stolen registration identification card.

Notice: New registrations must be received at least 29 days prior to a scheduled election in order to be valid for that election.

In order to register to vote in Florida, a citizen must swear or affirm an oath and sign the voter registration application form. The online form begins the registration process. Mail the form to the: Supervisor of Elections Office, Post Office Box 1119, Titusville, Florida 32781-1119. 

If your application is complete, and you qualify as a voter, the Supervisor of Elections will mail you a registration identification card as official notification of your registration. If you have any questions, please call  Brevard County Supervisor of Elections office at (321) 633-2124.
