Cocoa Beach residents love the outdoors. Our tropical location assures warmth and sun on most days. Our ocean location brings comfortable breezes that ensure pleasant conditions even during the summer months. Whether its tending to tropical foliage around your home, walking the beach, spending a day at a park, jogging around town or practicing social sports such as golf or tennis, there is always something to get involved in.

Recreational activities are available for all ages - from young children to those in their golden years.

The City of Cocoa Beach offers a wide variety of organized recreational activities and programs for its residents. The Cocoa Beach Country Club (CBCC) is the most all-inclusive country club around - it is a public course open to everyone! The CBCC features three separate nines, putting greens, a driving range and a "19th hole" where you can get a bite to eat, a beverage of your choice and reminisce over the great golf shots you just made! The CBCC also features banquet facilities at reasonable prices to host those special gatherings and celebrations.

The City of Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center is where your children can learn to swim or learn water safety. It is also where senior citizens can take water aerobic classes. The Cocoa Beach High School trains there and hosts swim meets there as well. To learn more, click here.

Our City Recreational Department has a wide variety of programs going on throughout the year. The popular Summer Day Camp fills up quickly when school is out. Reasonably priced, school age kids enjoy many different activities as well as field trips. To learn more, click here for Recreation Program Schedule.

The Tennis Complex features ten lighted courts and a professional staff to give lessons that will improve your skills. The Tennis Complex is located adjacent to the golf course on the Cocoa Beach Country Club complex. To learn more about tennis, click here.

Then there is surfing for the adventurous, canoeing among the Thousand Islands for the nature-oriented or fishing in the Banana River or off the ocean beaches.

It's pretty hard to be bored in Cocoa Beach!
