Records Division

Our Records Division is responsible for all paperwork that is generated at the Cocoa Beach Police Department. To accomplish these tasks the Records Division is staffed by three civilian clerks and one supervisor who oversees the division’s daily operations. Their responsibility also includes the dissemination of records to the general public as well as other state and governmental agencies, conducting records checks, and fingerprinting.

Liz Bass is the City of Cocoa Beach Police Department’s custodian of public records. Pursuant to Section 119.12, Florida Statutes, the contact information for the City of Cocoa Beach Police Department’s custodian of public records is to be prominently posted in the administrative building where the City of Cocoa Beach Police Department’s public records are routinely created, sent, received, maintained, and requested.

Police records include:

  • Case reports
  • Accident reports
  • Arrest records 
  • Any other information that is of public record

To obtain copies of police reports, you may make a request through any of the following methods:

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Police Report Fee Schedule

  • 15 cents per single-sided copy 
  • 20 cents per double-sided copy. 

Victims may obtain a copy of their case report at no cost

Property Pick-up

Property Pick-up is available by appointment only Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please call the Records Division in advance at (321) 868-3265 to schedule your appointment.
