About

The Pathos Community Garden was founded in 2018 with the assistance of the Cocoa Beach Sustainability Committee. Community Gardens aid in creating sustainable communities by offering residents the opportunity to grow their own fruits, vegetables and flowers close to home. The garden is located at Ramp Road Park behind the tennis courts and is currently made up of 14 4x8 raised garden bed plots. The Pathos Community Garden was built using the same design as the Florida Tech Ethos Community Garden. The two gardens, along with Satellite Beach’s Logos Community Garden, are all considered sister gardens due to their similarity in design and the collaborative efforts of Cocoa Beach, FIT, Satellite Beach to bring sustainable gardening to the community.

Applications for available plots are accepted on an annual basis beginning in May with plots being assigned by August. If there are no plots available at the time of application, applicants will be placed on the waiting list and notified if a plot becomes available that year. Garden plots are available in two sizes: 4x8 for $50 per year and 4x4 for $25 per year (July to July). The typical growing season is from September - May.

How to Apply

The Community Garden has a Waitlist for plots. We are closing the waitlist until plots are available, thank you for your understanding.
