1. Is there a Notary at City Hall?

There are notaries at City Hall, in the Development Services, City Clerk's Office and in Human Resources. Hours for notary services are 8:30am to 4:30pm. If the document to be notarized is City required, there is no cost. Notary service cost is $5 per signature.

2. Who do I call regarding the trimming of vegetation along the beach/dune?

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) issues field permits for such trimming. They can be contacted at 321-725-4548.

3. What are the hours of operation of the Brevard County Landfill (dump)?

Brevard County Solid Waste Management Department operates the Brevard Country Landfills. For hours please contact Brevard Waste Management  at 321-633-2042 or via email.

4. Does the sanitation truck pick up and cart away heavy household items such as couches and appliances?

The city's contract with USA Waste Management includes special pick-up of many items of this nature, to arrange for a special pick-up, or to get more information on allowances and restrictions, contact USA Waste Management at 321-723-4455.

5. How do I request a lien search?

Effective April 1, 2020 the City of Cocoa Beach has partnered with Orange Lien Data, LLC to process Lien Searches and Requests from title companies, closing agents, and others seeking gather information about outstanding debt owed to the City.
